Varied terrain, maximum possibilities
Gothics is home to one of our largest areas. Whether you've been on a few heli trips or you're a returning longtime loyalist, it has the trip and terrain for you. This tenure features an awe-inducing 315+ runs and plenty of variety. You’ll hit up the Northern Selkirks and mighty Monashees, taking in prime glades, open glaciers and excellent tree skiing. Known for its celebrated storm skiing and playful tree runs, 60% of the Gothics runs are below treeline in towering, perfectly spaced terrain that often ends with short, peaceful runouts along valley creeks and floors. The surrounding mountains are also home to one of the world’s only inland temperate rain forests, evoking a uniquely ethereal feel when skiing through the old-growth trees.
CMH Gothics is all about high-volume, quicker-paced skiing — expect to knock out back-to-back-to-back runs while hot lapping zones in our Bell 212 helicopters. Although the terrain at the Gothics is varied, confidently skiing and riding here and getting the most out of the terrain requires at least a strong-intermediate powder skier or snowboarder — some previous backcountry experience is a bonus.
