Friendships built on fresh tracks
There’s a reason why this is our trademark experience. Signature Trips are offered at almost every lodge in the CMH family, which means there’s something for everyone’s terrain preference and style of skiing. From laidback town-side hangouts to remote backcountry luxury, you’ll have plenty of places to dry your boots, rest your legs and make new friends over cold drinks, hearty meals and hot tubs.
With up to 11 guests and typically one guide per group, Signature Trips are one of the best bang-for-your-buck options. If you’re flying solo or coming with a partner or a few friends, these are a great way to meet plenty of kindred powder hounds to hang out with. You may arrive as strangers, but you’ll leave as mountain family.
Group Size
11 guests + 1 guide
On a typical Signature Trip at CMH, you’ll get to ski or ride in personalized groups of just 11 guests or less, plus 1 guide. When you think about sharing resort groomers with up to 20,000 skiers on any given Saturday, either option is a magic number.

Helicopter
Bell 212
Our Signature Trips use the powerful Bell 212 — the classic machine that heli-skiing was built on.
Skiable Terrain
3,000,000 acres
CMH's total terrain is bigger than all North American ski areas put together. That’s not a typo. Our exclusive three-million-acre territory is 20x larger than all the combined chairlift skiing on the continent. Woah. It would likely take several years to ski all our runs more than once — but we’re happy to help you try. Just throwin’ the challenge out there.

Average vertical
30,500m / 100,000 ft
On a 7-day CMH Signature Trip, you'll log around 100,000 vertical feet of skiing and riding, which is approximately 45 heli rides worth of “Yewwwwww!” (This amount will vary based on trip length, run length, group dynamics, weather, etc.) Fun fact: to log the same amount of vertical at a resort, you’d have to spend 6-7 hours in a lift line and take double the number of chairlift rides. Heli, please.
